Description
A genuine CEME pilot-operated solenoid valve on a G 3/8 body, the first size in the 90-series range used on presses, finishers, tunnel equipment and boiler steam lines where flow matters more than switching on a dead line.
Pilot operated construction uses line pressure to help open the main seat, so the valve handles far more flow than a direct-acting valve of the same coil size – but it needs at least 1 bar differential across it to open, and the working range is 1 to 10 bar. If your line can fall below 1 bar, a direct-acting valve is the safer choice and our desk will advise.
The 8 mm orifice gives a Kv of 1.253 m3/h. PTFE seals are rated to a fluid temperature of 180 C, with an ambient limit of 80 C. The coil is AC 230V 50-60 Hz, 22 VA, ED 100% for continuous duty, CE marked.
Before you order: confirm the coil voltage, the thread size, and that your line holds at least 1 bar. The C77 coil is available separately if only the coil has failed.
