Description
A genuine CEME direct-acting solenoid valve on a G 1/4 body, rated for the higher fluid temperatures met on press and finisher steam lines. Direct acting means no minimum line pressure is needed for the valve to open.
The 2.8 mm orifice gives a Kv of 0.429 m3/h against a 10 bar maximum differential. What sets this one apart from the other G 1/4 valves is temperature: EPDM seals rated to a fluid temperature of 180 C, with an ambient limit of 80 C – so it suits hotter steam but wants a cooler mounting position, away from trapped heat. The Type 778 coil is AC 230V 50 Hz, 18 VA, ED 100%, with VDE and CE approval.
Before you order: check the coil voltage and the thread, and note the 80 C ambient limit when choosing where it is mounted.
